Kranji War Memorial is a memorial built to honor the men from various countries of the allied forces who were killed while defending Singapore from the invading Japanese Imperial army. Nearby there are also the cemetery grounds for the State Cemetery and the burial site for Commonwealth forces who died during the struggle. The graves of first and the second Singapore Presidents are also located in State Cemetery.

Note: 11 Nov commencing of Remembrance Day the honoring of dead through a memorial service and 25 Apr ANZAC Day (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) are commemorated.

How to reach:

The nearest MRT station is Kranji MRT Station (NS7) form there a taxi can be taken or the following bus 160, 170 (SBS) or 178, 960, 961 (SMRT) needs to be taken to reach the memorial. Also you can walk from Kranji MRT Station (NS7) to Kranji War Memorial 14 min (1.00 KM). However it is advised that you take a taxi as the walking route may be confusing. Please refer the following for the same:

1) From Kranji MRT Station (NS7) head southwest on Woodlands Road towards Three Rings Dr (750 m)
2) Turn left to Woodlands Road (300 m)
